August 21 2005
Large Cod of the Summer hooked on Bait...
A 52 pound Cod was hooked by Bill in the Stewart Stump group of Pennsylvania.. This fish was caught after the pool was already given to a 41 pound fish..In 240 ft of water on a little Kayman hot spot these folks had many fish over 20 pounds, Cod Pollock and Hake.

Billie Hooked this 31Pounder on her first drop..
Tuna have been chasing bait that is on the run...We hooked one fish earlier this week in the AM on a Combo trip. The big full moon tides are making the fish not show in the same spots. The Tides should back off next week and we should be on them again.

Large Cod and Hake to Forty pounds are still lurking in the depths of Tillies Bank
Tuna are still showing but early morning thick fog has hampered the efforts this week.
Large numbers of Stripers have been on feeding frenzys outside Gloucester.
Aug 6 2005
It is Tuna Time....Large Schools of 100 pound Fish are Crashing Top Water Lures!!
Schools of Tuna pushing bait to the surface in a feeding frenzy are being hooked as we troll custom squid bars through the mayhem! This is quite a show..The Tuna crash the teasers and then one will take the stinger to pop the outrigger clips and light up the 6/0 reels. Early morning has been the best bite, this action has been followed by spectacular Cod and Haddock fishing. Large Cod and Steaker sized Haddock are being caught at most stops. The action has also been spiced with Slammer Pollock to 26 Lbs. These rod bending drag peeling fish have been putting anglers to the test! As a bonus hardly and Dogfish to hamper the action, we have had no dogs on the last few trips!!

These Tuna and Cod Marathons will continue into mid October..We Still have openings!! Also we are booking for the November Large Cod and Pollock Run..
July 18 2005
Large Cod to 43 pounds were hooked on last weeks trips! A hand ful or 30 pound fish were also in the mix.Large Pollock also tested anglers as drags were peeling off. These slammer pollock are one of the best fighting bottom fish out there!
Large steaker haddock were plentiful as well, most of the angler went home with 150-250 pounds of fillets!! This Summer time bonnanza looks as it will continue as lots of bait is seen from Stellwagon to Jeffries.
Tuna has also been making headlines in Gloucester as fish to 800 lbs have been unloaded at the docks! We have not tried for them as yet.The boat is avalible for dates starting the first week of August .. Give us a call and be sure to leave a phone number were you can be reached after 6 pm..
