Ground fishing continues to be good to great. A 65 pound Halibut came to gaff the other day, Angler Jamie from Long isle new it was not stuck on bottom as the rod would not move and kept thumping. The fish hit a Norwegian jig in 230 ft of water.
A lot of nice Haddock and Cusk have spiced up the catches this week.Some of the big Bull Haddock are still around.
Cod fish are in the Market size but were a little scarce this week compared to earlier.

After the end of August it will be just Tuna trips, and a few red fish and Pollock trips
