Nice sized Cod and Haddock are filling freezers of those who are getting in on this great fall fishing! Cod to 15 pounds found some jigs bouncing along the bottom. Haddock are also being caught on jigs with the right technique. The weather plays a factor in the action of the jigs as rough weather is tougher to give the lures the right presentation.When these conditions prevail bait fishing is much more productive.

The group put in a great effort all day and has booked another day to try again!
The fishing charters on the Lisa&Jake leaving from Gloucester caught a lot of Cod and Haddock last week as well as Large Sharks to spice up the day!
Fall fishing has begun on Kayman Charters! Large Cod to 20 pounds were jigged up this week! Those are some of the best migrating Cod we have seen in a while! These nice white bellied fish were jigged up in 250 ft. of water east of Gloucester on some of Capt. Kevin’s hot spots. Shimano butterfly jigs seem to be the trick for catching these nice fish as well as large Haddock that can’t resist these lures.
The Lisa&Jake fished the inshore grounds this week, After a Slammer offshore trip with old time 1000 pounds of ground fish and a 40pound Halibut to top it off. We were back 20 miles from Gloucester catching mostly Haddock. Great jigging action for those who could get the hang of the Kayman way to jig, These folks got fish on every drop! Haddock on the jig is such a fun way to fish! Pink Shimano butterfly jigs are the Captains favorite to land these Haddock that have been reaching 9-10 pounds
