The boats were tied up last week as we finished up at the Sports
Shows, The life rafts are undergoing there annual inspection. Each
year they are unpacked and inflated to check for leaks. This is a very
expensive test that is not required for charter boats but is always
done on the Kayman Boats! New cold water immersion suits for each
passenger are tested and properly stowed to prep for the busy season.
The reports are that some big numbers of Haddock have been offloaded
in port last week. This is a good sign as the Haddock usually show up
Lisa’s Look out, the new lodge is up and going! A great place to stay
as this brand new is only one mile from the marina and beaches. Some
clients are booking for the week in the summer for a fishing beach
vacation with the family! Sixty dollars each with breakfast for this
new house is a bargain!
A lot of Shared charters have been filled but with more requests we
have March 22 and Sunday March 25 open for a bait fishing trip for
Haddock. visit Kaymancharters.com to sign up!
Note to all who are fishing until mid April.. The Boats have been
moved due to the bridge being out!! Call before your trip for the new
location in town!
