The Cod and Haddock fishing with a mix of Slammer Pollock continues to be nothing but superb! Jigging from the shoals of Stellwagon to the deeper hard bottom to the east has been producing great numbers of fish.Pollock and Cod 15- 20 lbs have been jigged up by most anglers.
Tuna fishing has begun this week, good numbers of fish have shown up but continue to be on the move. Bob Guay and Doug Barker together fought and landed there first large Bluefin this week. A 278 lb fish was caught on a live bait on Stellwagon Bank.The Tuna put on quite a show as it first lunged out of the water to get the bait that was swimming on the surface at the time missing the bait the fish then turned around and inhaled it screaming the line of the reel!
